Project Description

There I was, working in a call-center.

Disgusted with my future prospects, I turned (rather ignorantly I might add) to a childhood passion of mine: photography. Despite any formal training, education, or even fundamental knowledge of the industry, I dove right in. (hey, I’m a water polo player) And like many others who have started their own business, I quickly received the overwhelming impression: “I can do so much better than all these guys.”

Desperate to break into an already saturated market, I fought tooth and nail for the first year in business. And evidently, my hustle paid off. In my first 12 months, I received dozens of clients, heaps of referrals, and was even flown across the country for two weddings.

Since then, I have continued to develop and hone my craft along with engineering an unheard of customer experience, which has landed me on the forefront of the wedding photography industry.

But I am not the right photographer for everyone.

I select and cater my services to a specific group of people that share my affinity for unique and organic perspectives of love & life, creativity, personal relationships & interactions, unforgettable experiences, and an ardent love of the outdoors. They do not tolerate the generic, the bland, or the contrived. I am constantly inspired by their generosity, consideration of others (even on their wedding day), and robust love of each other. This is what I am after and what I seek to capture. My clients have included prominent political figures and professional athletes, as well as the unfamous but equally as remarkable.

It seems that others share my vision. I have been blessed to have my work featured locally, nationally, and internationally in print and online. I am regularly flown out to destinations all over and relish the opportunity to be a part of such an important event as one’s wedding. I have also had the fortune to teach photography classes at the college level, provide one-on-one instruction and workshop mentoring, and have even authored an educational e-book on the subject.

Bottom line is I am extremely passionate about what I do. I firmly believe that in order to be the best at what you do, you have to be intensely passionate about it. I go to great lengths to create and bring to life a genuinely unforgettable experience. This experience is not just for you. It extends to your families, your friends, and each of your guests. It is the creation of something truly remarkable that will be re-lived and cherished for the rest of your lives and even passed down to your children and grandchildren.

I am not cheap. I don’t believe that anyone honestly wants something that is. (especially for something as important as your wedding day) Cheap is the absence of value. It is a sad disguise for those that don’t understand their craft or back up everything they do. My clients have taken to heart that they “get what they pay for” and know that they will be extremely pleased with the results. In fact, I regularly receive dozens of referrals from past clients because they want to share that incredible experience with others.

If there’s one thing that I am intensely passionate about, it’s great wedding photos. They can’t be good or fair or decent – they have to be great. I can’t stand the thought of people having to stare at less-than-great photos for the rest of their life. This is your wedding and a one-time chance to record it. Let’s do it right.  Wedding Storytelling begins as $2999.  For a more detailed price list, please contact us here.

*Due to the high level of detail that goes into each wedding, I only accept a limited number of commissions each year. I have become extremely selective with the events that I book, so please inquire early and include a detailed description of who you are and your vision for your wedding.
